Males use their horns to compete for mating rights.
Before a fight, they hook themselves into a tree branch.
A winner is decided when one is thrown from the branch.
Fights can mean life or death, as falling to the forest floor exposes them to predators.
They are being studied by mechanical engineers in hopes to improve aircraft designs.
