July 11, 2018 - A 4-mile-wide iceberg broke off the Helheim Glacier in Greenland, tumbling into the fjord below. The 35-minute calving was captured in this time-lapse video. The separated section is about half the size of Manhattan. As Earth warms, ice loss from glaciers like this is accelerating, contributing to global sea-level rise.
