Watch Rescued Penguins Waddle Their Way to Freedom
January 20, 2018 - In November 2017, ten African penguins waddled their way to freedom after several months of rehabilitation. The birds—all between six and 12 months old when they were rescued—had washed up onshore suffering from illnesses and injuries. Rehabilitators released the penguins once the animals were fit enough to return to the wild. Plettenberg Bay was chosen as the release site in the hope the penguins will return to their colony
