New Species of Snailfish is Deepest Fish Ever Caught

Scientists formally documented a new species of snailfish, Pseudoliparis swirei, the deepest fish ever caught in the Mariana Trench.
This sea creature was first caught in 2014 but is only now being described.
Found 8,200 meters below sea level,this snailfish is about twice as long as a cigar yet it can withstand more water pressure than 1,600 elephants standing on its head.
