Nov. 9, 2017 - This dog is fostering an unusual young animal—an extremely rare Amur leopard cub. The mother of the leopard cub had previously eaten three of her litters so the zookeepers decided to separate them for protection. The dog allows the cub to nurse, while also taking care of four of her own puppies. Caretakers give the cub supplemental formula milk to help her get necessary nutrients. Amur leopards are critically endangered, and less than 60 exist in the wild.
