Oct. 18, 2017 - Archaeologists discovered a Roman-era structure buried beneath the Western Wall in Jerusalem's Old City. The 200-seat auditorium is the first Roman public structure ever discovered in the city. Buried for 1,700 years, building appears unfinished and likely comes from the second or third centuries AD. It may have been used for concerts, or as a meeting place for the city council.
