Oct. 16, 2017 - An oil rig explosion in Kenner, Louisiana left at least seven people injured and one missing. The rig is located on Lake Pontchartrain, about 20 miles north of New Orleans. It was undergoing cleaning when the blast occurred. Efforts are underway to locate the eighth missing worker. It's unclear if there will be long-term effects in the lake, and officials will soon conduct water evaluations.
