Sept. 14, 2017 - Workers in London discovered one of the biggest fatbergs ever seen. More than 800 feet long, it weighs an estimated 130 metric tons and is the size of 11 double-decker buses. Fatbergs are huge deposits of solidified fat, oil, and grease that combine with "flushable" toilet wipes to clog sewers. Cities around the world, from Melbourne, Australia, to Fort Wayne, Indiana, are dealing with similar clogs.
