A marine biologist filmed this sea angel in the cold, deep Arctic ocean off Russia.
The translucent creature was later joined by a second, where they connected in a flowing mating ritual.
Sea angels are sea slugs and protandrous hermaphrodites …
which means they are both male and female throughout their lives.
They will extend their reproductive organs and attach themselves to one another.
They can mate up to four hours … and even hunt for prey while attached during the fertilization process.
