Close Call: Great White Shark Collides With Diving Cage

Off the coast of Guadalupe Island, Mexico, a great white shark lunges at some bait … and collides into a cage with a diver inside.
It breaks one of the bars and is momentarily inside the cage until it backs out.
Incidents such as this are not new.
Some experts believe baiting in shark diving can put sharks and humans in physical dangers.
Others believe the practice allows people to learn more about sharks … and help promote conservation of marine animals such as the great white.
