Dec. 6, 2016 - A man lands a punch on a kangaroo’s snout in a video captured on June 15. The conflict was an unexpected turn during a boar hunting trip in New South Wales, Australia. A member of the party found one of his dogs in a fight with the marsupial, and rushed to help. The man then continued to fight with the kangaroo after the dog escaped. A statement from the provider of the footage claims that the action was essentially defensive, and that the dog’s owner felt “no malice” toward the kangaroo. The kangaroo did not appear to sustain any injuries, although the hunter put himself in serious danger by taking on the powerful wild animal.
