Oct. 26, 2016 – Spanish greyhounds, known as
galgos, face frequent abuse and even violent death from some owners in Spain, where unscrupulous breeders raise the dogs for racing and hunting. An animal rights organization in Spain and a supporting group in Italy are working to rescue galgos and provide them with loving families. Paloma, one such dog, has found a new home in northeastern Italy.
