Oct. 17, 2016 - A great white shark slammed through the side of a safety cage during an excursion by a diving company off Guadalupe Island, Mexico, on October 4. Darting at some bait set by the tour operators, the shark had enough momentum to break through the bars. After thrashing about for several seconds, the shark found its way out through the opened cage hatch. A diver had been in the cage, but avoided the shark by ducking out the hole created moments earlier.
