Scouring almost two million acres in Utah in search of undiscovered dinosaur fossils is rugged business, and paleontologists have to improvise—for example, using toilet paper as a tool of fossil preservation. Scott Sampson's work was supported by a grant from the National Geographic Expeditions Council.
