What's the cutest thing you've ever photographed? Join three fluffy bunnies as they mug for the camera in National Geographic's photo studio. Roger, Penelope and Kiba are the rescued bunnies of National Geographic staff members. All were abandoned outdoors at a young age, and adopted from shelters. Domestic rabbits live 10-12 years with proper care but are often misunderstood as a "starter pet." Many are impulsively put in kids' Easter baskets and then sadly discarded in the months that follow, making them the third most abandoned pet in the U.S. after cats and dogs.
