Peru With a View
After days of lush green banana plantations and tropical lowland jungle, Andrew Evans entered the Sechura Desert–one of the driest places on earth. The vegetation disappeared completely and what started as a bare sandy horizon soon transformed into a flowing wall of dramatic sand dunes on either side. "I felt like I’d been dropped into the world’s biggest sand box and as I watched out the window, the wind blew the sand into new drifts and patterns," he said.
