Wave and Tide Energy for Prize Money
September 6, 2012—"The starting gun has just been fired," according to the Saltire Prize committee vice-chair. Officials can now start measuring entries into the Scottish Government-sponsored 10 Million British Pound prize (~$16 Million U.S.) for the most successful electricity-producing device harnessing wave or tidal energy from the sea.
