Cormorant's Deep Dive Caught on Camera

August 1, 2012—Researchers from the Wildlife Conservation Society (WCS) and the National Research Council of Argentina fitted an imperial cormorant with a small camera near Punta Leon in Patagonia, Argentina.

The video shows the so-called Superbird making a 150-foot (46-meter) dive in 40 seconds, searching for food on the seafloor, catching a fish, and resurfacing after more than two and a half minutes underwater.
