Time Lapse: Watch One Earth Year From Space

July 22, 2016 - For the first time, a camera has recorded the entire, fully lit Earth for a year—every day, multiple times a day. At high speed, the world seems to spin in place as each continent experiences its share of daylight. Storms, snow, and even an eclipse pass by. The camera is part of the Deep Space Climate Observatory, a project of NASA, NOAA, and the U.S. Air Force.
