        Even if being white can make squirrels easier to see in spring and summer and fall, perhaps being white helps to camouflage them in snow.

        My neighbor behind me noticed he had 2 white squirrels last summer.One wasvtrue albino.I got a picture of it. Few weeks ago I noticed a white squirrel across the road in front of my house in the woods.I've gotten several pics of it.It comes out there late morning & late evening.
